Nathaniel Thomas is an independent filmmaker and wedding cinematographer based in the DMV area, originally from New York City. A graduate of CUNY City College’s Media & Communications Arts program, he shapes his visual storytelling through non-traditional shooting methods and a strong foundation in artistic.
With over 10 years of experience as a wedding cinematographer, Nathaniel specializes in a seamless, non-intrusive approach. His cinematic style focuses on capturing deeply personal, raw, and candid human emotions while allowing couples and guests to remain completely present in the natural flow of the celebration.
His diverse industry background includes hands-on experience at Leftfield Pictures and Deluxe Post Production, alongside production assistant roles for notable television productions like As the World Turns and Kitchen Nightmares. Also a highly proficient editor, Nathaniel holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business —uniquely blending elite creative artistry with strategic insight to bring an evolving, compelling lens to every wedding film.
